ENDORSEMENTS

After candidate presentations and questions from the membership, the Club voted to endorse the following candidates running in the Democratic Primary in June 2026:

• Senator Robert Jackson for New York State Senate, 31st District

• Morgan Evers for New York State Assembly, 81st District

• Izaiah “Zeek” Barrow for District Leader, 81st Assembly District

• Bereket Ghebremedhin for State Committee, 81st Assembly District

• Betsy Knapp for State Committee, 81st Assembly District

Each of these candidates has shown exceptional dedication to serving the northwest Bronx community and advocating for policies that promote unity, equity, and progress within the Democratic Party. The Unity Democratic Club believes that their leadership will contribute significantly to the betterment of our city and state.
